You got your wheat planted in early October and applied some fertility... so the plants should have had well developed crowns going into the winter.... and recently its been cold so the plants should all be dormant. I don't think your wheat will have any problems with -5 to -10F.

I got our wheat planted in late October so it was still pretty small when winter set in but I think it will also be OK.

I am more concerned about our winter peas.
