Northwest IOWA | Very nice pictures! Keep em coming! Iv never been involved with any Ford projects, But I did a 72 Challenger Rally w 340 and Pistol grip 4 speed in 1980. I was just learning as I went , and money was kinda tight. I got the car done ,had some fun with it but we didn't have a decent shed space to park it then, and sold it.DUH! In the glove box of that Challenger was the owners manual still in plastic.Dodge wrote in the manual,something to the effect- " For Maximum acceleration the Shift level maybe slammed from 1st to 2nd gear " !! I wished I would've at least made a copy of that page ! This past year my grandson and I got a Dodge Coronet 1957 back on the road after sitting in a barn 45 years w no engine - i will attempt to add pics | |
