How many cows? 15 or 60? moving hay get yourself a tractor, compact of some sort will move hay like you are now and not cost much more then a side by side , maybe a lot less for a used one even with a cab and last a lot better, keep the/a 4 wheeler for the warmer months withother work, or pre place yhour hay bales and use poly sire and move the feeders to the hay bales.

About 70 and climbing, I guess i should have elaborated a bit more I "stage" my estimated # of bales I'll need on each farm with tractor and put X amount of bales needed for each paddock. Certain paddocks that are poorer soil and steep hills i tend to feed more as to improve soil so the truck and bale unroller wouldnt be safe on these spots as a lot of them were covered in big cedars I've taken out so I have stumps to drive over too. So I dont have to move a bale over 50 yd usually I just make little bale yards in each paddock then when cows get moved there to feed hay I put a poly wire around those bales and move it so I can get in there and feed them.
