North Mississippi Delta / Alabama Gulf Coast
2 of those does bit the dust when son came to visit for a few days.

There is a large tract of CRP my farm sits on the SW edge of, I just measured on Google Earth that is 650 acres of swamp, thickets, old CRP tracts and flooded brakes.
Folks around here shoot the hell out of deers and ducks but there are too many to cull.

State biologist on a SuperTalk MS show recently stated that the abundance of acorns, mild winter and fat healthy herds will likely produce more twins and triplets as well as bigger horns as the herd is fat and sassy this year. The deer kill is way down according to the deer processing places.
Oh well!!
