Mid-Michigan | Cold weather won't hurt your wheat. It's made for this. I have problems in the spring when it rains on frozen ground, ponds then re-freezes. That will kill wheat. Tile in this situation does little. I did have wheat severly hurt one very dry march. We had 3 days of very high winds and the dirt,sand blowing cut the tops of the wheat right off. This was after greenhouse. Wheat is tough. Not sure i like your manure idea | |
