Odd man out...............I'll keep the cows, I am not sure gold is that edible when the crash does happen. Sooner or later things will have to course correct with the path its on.
if you have livestock you'll have deadstock, your gold should always be there in some form unless you get enough heat to vaporize it, but it won't create a now bonus mini-nugget each year either.
Cattle or gold?
