Franklinton, LA | Most contractors will rebuild their nail guns a few times before they are discarded. Maybe a lumber supplier in your area can provide information on a tool repair shop. About 20 years back Bostitch had people in this area who would visit building supply stores every few months. If you bought a box of Bostitch nails they would repair a Bostitch nail gun at no charge.
The Bostitch web site may have parts list for your brad nailer. These things are not that hard to take apart and repair.
Amazon offers tough plastic pads you can slip onto the nose of the 18-gauge brad nailer and protect the wood from scratches. I think the #P9590007200 pads will fit your brad nailer. Their cost is $12.99 for 9 pads. Also, a lumber supplier or tool repair shop may be able to supply some pads.
