I might consider it if it paid me whatever I’m guaranteed by 85% crop insurance.
So that would be roughly $650/acre on 200 APH ground. AND I get to pick what acres are idled.
So you don't have to pay for seed, fertilizer, chemicals, fuel, time and you get $500 an acre and you would say
"nosirreee, not for me, I need the full $650 an acre I would get on it if I spent all that money on all those inputs"
even though you only take home maybe a $100 after all those inputs
