Farmington, Mo | We have a pretty low hour (3600 hrs) Liebherr built Deere 655C highlift we are having trouble with. Engine will start on ether and will run good all day until you shut it off or idle it down to far.
If you kill it with the key…won’t start on its own. If you idle down too far, it’ll die and won’t restart on its own.
We have changed all the fuel filters and have scoured the system for leaks. What’s next? Mechanical lift pump? Hate to change it if it’s not the problem…$800 for a new one.
Would the injection pump or injectors be failing?
