Subject: Four Wheeler or Side by Side

West Central Illinois
I have a 2023 Honda Foreman 520 that gets used pretty good daily. We're up to around 800 hours from August of '23 so I guess i put an avg. around 300+ hrs on it a year. Mainly used for putting in paddocks/step in posts and poly wire daily, moving around mineral feeders, fence work etc. Also during the winter i unroll all my hay with it usually around 4 bales per day just light 4x5's around 700 lb each so with the weight of bale unroller and bale regularly pulling around 1,000 lb with it. I usually prefer a 4 wheeler since it feels safer on the really steep spots and putting in paddock divisions a lot of times I don't even get off to put each step in post while I'm driving not sure I'd be as quick at putting in paddocks on a side by side but for carrying stuff the side by side obviously would be a plus and the dog would prefer riding in it I'm sure vs. in front of me on the 4 wheeler.

Recently had to have the hitch welded on due to a good crack on the right side, starting to think maybe this 4 wheeler isn't going to hold up for my uses. Surely other people are harder on stuff than I am and have cattle more spread out than me but do you think a Kawasaki mule or Honda Pioneer would hold up better with towing and high hours? I'd hate to trash a $9,000 4 wheeler every 4 or 5 years I normally like to get something and stick with it for a long time was hoping to get 10 yrs or better out of things. Was looking on facebook at used 4 wheelers to get an idea maybe what mine's worth to sell outright and I haven't found one with even close to as many hours and miles as mine has on it. Surely somebody else runs them more than I do?
