SE SD | My opinions on it is I think debt to asset wise, the U.S. is in good shape. But we're cash strapped. If our foreign debts got called in, the only way to pay it would be to print more money which we all know what that would lead to. Fifteen percent of the $38 trillion would be another $5.7 trillion printed, ouch!! $11.5 trillion if it all got called in, yikes! When you look at it that way, there's no way out of this mess other than greatest depression or war am I correct? It would take down the global economy too, which is why the can gets kicked down the road all the time. | |
