I've never heard of that before. What are they claiming it does? I have heard of spraying liquid potash on beans with a severe slug issue (typically no-till beans in super tall rye). Supposedly the liquid potash burns/kills the slugs. I've never done it myself, it was brought up in an agronomy meeting I went to.
