I think some of this could have been avoided if we'd held the big banks accountable following the 08-09 housing bubble and subsequent derivative collapse. But we didn't. They should have been allowed to fail and we should have taken our medicine then. But we kicked that can down the road and it's only gotten worse. Yeah, that's a "small" part of the problem, but it's indicative of the whole system. The powerful aren't accountable and know they'll get bailed out. Maybe a total collapse is finally what "fixes" it. 

It's kind of funny that sites like "zerohedge" were constantly fanning the "hyper-inflation" flames under Obama, when it may actually wind up being one of "their own" that actually ignites it.
