| A very Utopian idea and the U.S. has been at it since end of WWII. Other than lifting Europe along with our one time enemies Germany and Japan up from the ashes really not many other signs of success for our efforts. Even the money spent fighting poverty in our homeland seems to have had little success according to everything we read or see in the news. And now with the border being opened up to allow even more impoverished people in, that surely won’t help the situation. Think we could spend every last penny everyone has, and not come close to lifting everyone around the world up because of human nature, not for lack of trying. | |
