Subject: RE: Pics of new fencline hay feeder

Leesburg, Ohio
Thanks for all the compliments!
And "Garvo approved" no less!! Thanks!

Pretty high$, but I think the convenience and the hay savings will compensate.
We did the dirt work, hauled all the gravel, did most of the base grading, welded and set the poles, assembled the guard rail and gates.
Hired the actual concrete pour.
Gates and mounting hardware are all galvanized, and came from Steinway Equipment near Wooster, Ohio. The feeder panels are their stock panels, gates were custom built.

Hope to add trusses and a roof later this year.
Thinking we will use double trusses bolted to both sides of the tab we welded to the top of each pole.
That will mean the roof purlins will be almost a 10' span. Probably 2x4s on edge, or 2x6s flat.

I like the pics posted of the other facilities. Nice setups!
