Saronville NE | Guarantee we lost money on row crop in 25. But feeding cattle made very good bank, so still made good profit. 26 who knows yet. My BE isnt anywhere close to $4.75 though, less by a ways.
We looked to have alot 240-250 corn in late August by pulling ears etc, but by harvest time lots of 200. Dryland pivot corners out yiekded the irrigated. Southern rust and tar spot moved in late and really kicked butt when fungicide was running out. Then even where hailed and green snap, insurance had gone up so much on p120 forced to take less because of cost, so insurance didn't kick in like normal. Definitely not a good year row crop wise in our area. Hearing same story from lots of guys here. | |
