Dramatic increase in infiltration rate. Runoff is almost shut down unless we get rain on frozen ground. It's gotten to the point that the tile mains can't handle it and ponds at the junctions. Soil aggregates are huge, worm holes abundant and root capillaries continue to multiply. Of course the crop roots like following down the worm holes where the fertility is higher too..
