I think there could be more individuals doing this in rural areas vs bigger businesses in urban areas. I saw in New York one owner they were talking about owned like 150,000 living units.
My three homes were purchased for $6500, $12,500 and $22,000. All full sized single family homes. I was inches away from buying two more large houses a few years ago for $40,000 ish combined. Wish I would have now. Prices have shot up since my purchases. Rents are pushing $1000 for houses and 2 bedroom apartments in these rural county seats now. But I bid a roof job last year and it was $25,000 so we put up ladders and patched it ourselves for now. | |
