Bankers and marketing experts always say, no your break evens so you know when to sell. You haven’t been able to pencil in a break even. Most of us know our cost to put the crop in but if yield is plus or minus 20 bushel, Government payments could be 0-100 dollars per acre and then arc/plc who knows. Kinda hard to market without all the information.
I feel ya brotha. not knowing what governmen payments are really throws a wrench into marketing. Im sitting on all of my crop waiting to see what they announce for payments. |
Arc/plc from this past 2025 crop. When is end of marketing year? And do we get better of the 2 yet?
