North Central Indiana | Maybe not “common” but I know of older farmers that have that many just through acquiring houses with farms. We have 7 that are occupied not including houses that our family members are living in. And 2 that were torn down outside of those. Also know of a family in town that’s bought a home for each of their kids (all under 10) as an investment instead of a savings account or what have you | |
