Go talk to your dealer autosteer guy, if your dealer is anything like mine they will have a room full of used displays and receivers. Should be able to buy a 3000 receiver for less than 1000 bucks now.
I bought outright a new G5 for my 4830 and yes they are not cheap but I do not pay yearly this way.
