
| John Burns - 1/20/2026 13:34 I don't know that I would call it less risk. More manageable risks maybe. If there wasn't any risk farming, a lot more people would get in on the gravy train.
The only reason there is any risk in farming is because lots of people want in on the gravy train. That is what pushes rents and land prices above what the govt guarantees with crop insurance.
Even so, the risk that remains is very manageable for people that want to limit their risks.
