Scranton | I can count a half a dozen different couples that own 12 or more houses (plus some apartments). They didn't buy them in retirement but did buy them FOR retirement purposes. Many are younger and for a few it turned into their entire job. Fixing, cleaning, etc. They don't hire help unless they have to hire a professional for something they can't fix themselves. Just as I'm typing this I've thought of even more folks in within this parameter.
Personally I have three rental houses, but I don't want any more as crap always needs done while I'm trying to farm. | |
