Curious for those who keep their bred cows tagged whats a brief summary of your system? As in all cows are color A and calves always color B, and the reasoning behind your numbering? Looking to get our herd on a more uniform look to make identifying easier and quicker for records. How long do you find the handwritten tags to be legible vs the printed?
First number is the last digit of the year they were born. Second number starts at one and counts up. Y Tex tags. |
