Thanks for the link. Rick Rule seems to have learned a lot more about precious metals mining and markets in 50 years than I have learned about farming in the same amount of time. I just watched this video of the Asian Guy on youtube, this time about the tax implications from selling.

I am old enough to retire and starting to think about selling some long term holdings as you are and am just curious how the tax man is treating you on your Sprott Bullion Trust sales. I did not file the IRS 8641 so I am afraid I will be paying the ordinary income rate. Hope yours is in a Roth IRA - by far the best tax treatment for anything that has appreciated.
