That is strictly your opinion.
That is NOT the rule.
If you don't want to report your yields by the deadline of April 30, you don't have to and they cant make you.
This from 1 of the sharpest agents in our state, but the rules are the same nationwide.
Just asked him this very question this morning because of all the misinformation on here.
And, yes, I believe that 1 poster's wife starts calling after Dec 31. The reason?
Because a good agent wants your actual yields as early as possible because your updated actual APH has an effect on your premium.
Just because you do your stuff early by January doesn't mean it HAS to be done by then and it doesn't mean your prognostic neighbor has to have it done 1 day before the deadline.
