NW Washington | The processed food industry and fast food industry know that people crave salt, fat, and sugar and they make sure you get plenty of it.
It all boils down to eating less and exercising more. Cut out most fat, processed or refined carbohydrates and sugar. Eat whole grains, vegetables and beans and lean meet. Go easy on cheese and dairy products with fat. The more fiber the better. Read labels.
And remember that too much salt, fat and sugar will kill you. Diabetes is a is not something you want to have to deal with.
