NEMO | Bull calves get a yellow tag.
Heifer calves get an orange tag.
Makes it really nice come sorting time. Look at the color of tag when it is coming at you to know which pen it goes in.
I like the Y-Tex tags. Years ago used the z tags when they first came out but ended up ripping a lot of little ears, especially when a cow was breathing down your neck and in a hurry.
I use the last digit of the year as the last number for the calf. First calf this year would be 06. Second calf will be 16. Third calf 26. 36, 46, 56, 66, 76, 86, 96, 106, 116, 126......
