| I rent my farm out on a flex rent that's very similar to yours. I haven't discussed getting a share of any government payment and don't intend to unless he brings it up. Highly doubt if I would take any even if he offered. JMO, but I'd rather see him get 100% of any government payments & put that money back into his operation than me getting a % and he having to cut back on inputs. Over the long run I think that would be to my advantage | |
