| Growing up nearly all the smaller tractors were either Ford or Massey. Bigger guys ran mostly IH or John Deere. Not as many AC tractors but the ones that ran them had all orange. AC was the combine seller with Massey in places. Both of these were completely changed to John Deere or Case later on. Had a few white Case tractors when a local farmer opened a dealership but didn't last long. Even though towns were 5 miles apart the popular brand was always the brand sold in that town. I never saw any of the less popular brands until I was much older and only pictures then. | |
