My regular bull supplier will replace any bull that get injured or dies the first breeding season regardless of purchase price. My bulls are costing more every year to a point I am likely going to have to find other options. I don’t have any insurance on the 25 to 30 head I keep around on a permanent basis. Once again might have to reevaluate at some point. Losing bulls is part of what we have to live with and if memory serves I lose about one a year to different injuries.
