The story is stating 2 different locations in a grain facility. A pit and A bin. My take on the story is that I doubt the reporter knows the difference between a pit or a bin...How would they since they are often not from agriculture exposed background. The new reporters mostly likely has never been to a grain facility other than on a drive buy on their way to work. And Id bet the photos are some random photo taken off the net of some farmers grain bins, and NOT even near the location of the death.
If your job is reporting news, you should strive to get the facts.
And this is why I don’t watch any ‘news’ any more.
Some year ago already, there was a bad hail storm a bit north of me. The Kare11 news out of Twin Cities must have had a news rew going through or something else and covered the hail on the way by.
Gal stood in a road ditch, talked about the hail, turned and pointed back, tentatively, and ended up weakly pointing at some Reed canary grass growing in the edge of the road ditch for the ‘damaged crop.’
If you don’t know, then you aren’t really a reporter. Not doing your job.
You are exactly right, School.
