| It is rough for some but it should not be to big a surprise that as corn/bean price soared the entire U.S. was plowed up and planted to row crops whether there was a market or not. Constant "Farmers Feed the World" mantra made everyone think it would and should go on forever. Beef producers liquidated in droves and created a profit center for the survivors of drought, high grain cost and old age. | |
