Southeast WI | Some of the data I dug up showed the range of nutrients across many many samples they used to narrow down to the sufficiency range given was very wide. Meaning you can get some low numbers and not see a yield response.
I dont have a huge database yet in my NOPP trials, but after looking at all nutrients besides N it appears yield goal has very little affect on other nutrients. If you are deficient on N you can limit uptake a bit of some micros and possibly S, however P and K are completely unaffected by N rate. They are well into the sufficient range at every N rate this past year.
N rate, by default, is the driver of yield if we have optimum levels of other nutrients provided. N rate determines the yield level. This appears contrary to what was discussed a few weeks ago where it was stated we need to push other nutrients higher. This is why im asking what people are using for plant analysis numbers at VT-R1 AND how they are achieving the higher levels.
