Like Randy Dowdy said a couple of years ago on Top Crop "who come up with these numbers and how do they now xx amount is sufficient".
Pull a sample on a Monday and your low on xx, Tuesday you get a 1 in rain. Pull sample the following Monday and your sufficient in same xx. That has been my experience.
