Holland, Indiana (SW IN) | I was waiting for someone to say do side by sides
Then you’ll know
Every year is different I think need to go with a persons gut —a few SXS answers some questions BUT every year is different
However after thinking through my numbers $50K extra seems like a lot
Rethinking our decision P is stupid expensive potash not so bad — “100 # of ammonium sulfate @ $400 a ton is $20 we will spend” and probably 250 # of 0-0-60 at $50 an acre could be cut a little and not be yield limiting
I’ll spend a day or so studying soil tests and rethink spending $60 an acre on phosphate and possibly cut $10/ acre off the K
Thanks for questioning my thinking why I love AgTalk heck bet we’ll find some place else to spend $50K if we cut that much $30 an acre less is $75K — I just love running numbers;-)
