Ft. Ripley MN | If you got a big enough chopper 300 acres is doable in a day. Split it up over a couple days and you can be done before you can get baled up.
I would like to do some haylage but haven’t gotten around to it. I was more inclined to do some 3 cutting to tailor the protein needs a little better. Have done oatalge in the past and the cows sure like it. This is all fed through a tmr with corn silage. Probably gonna wanna add some “fill hay” straw/stalks to have some dry roughage. | |
