I have some of those flex rents also. Kind of thought that all of a sudden my net will go up without the landlord getting a share. I will tell them that paying the rent would be more difficult without the payment so be glad I’m getting it.
I think a little explanation on farm economics will go a long ways of making that conversation go better.
