Subject: RE: Ag Economy in Minnesota

with all the LEGAL methods available to employ immigrant/migrant/foreign workers why would anyone bother hiring illegals? Talked to a liberal friend in so. mn that was all huffy and puffy claiming they were coming for the livestock farms in southern MN. It would be an unfortunate waste of their time but sure come on down. Lots of farmers and workers have done all the necessary paperwork/ jumped through the hoops to get workers here LEGALLY. illegal immigration is a giant disservice to all of us who have followed the rules and done it the right way, both farmer employers/ and the workers who are here. Deport all the people who did it illegally as far as im concerned and if there is a business owner out there cutting corners punish them.
