Pittsburg, Kansas | I read his comment and wondered about that. Just how much was really hedged. I can see where they might want some hedging done now.
All the "rah, rah, rah, prices can only go higher" seems like a bit of a sirens song to me. I've seen this before. Maybe this time really is different. It is possible.
But three months ago I was all in silver and gold. I just hit about 30% cash with the most recent sales. I hope the early sales are the worst sales I have made. If it continues and I get all my open orders filled will be closer to 50% and that will be my permanent holding level.
Think my highest sell order for CEF is 100 and for PSLV is 60. About double where they are now. If it makes it to there and gets filled, I will be a happy camper. I seriously doubt those highest orders get filled, but already more have been filled than expected. A bunch more than expected. So who knows? I certainly don't.
Buying is easier than selling, in my opinion. Then what to do with the proceeds???? CD'S probably paying about half the real inflation rate. Stock market horribly over priced. Land over priced. Tis a puzzlement.
