Va | I wouldn’t want to switch from a bucket to a ripper to take out 100’ trees. You will lose much control of the tree. I’d want a 42” bucket In front of me to push and pull with. A 32” cut off stump? A ripper would sure work for that. Leaving a hole after a stump is removed is the nature of the beast. With a bucket you drag dirt back into that hole to fill it in.
