You should have the plate under the right side of the frame. I too struggled with getting it all to drain. I re-routed the drain hose so it doesn’t have a hump (I forget what it went over, but it went up, then down to where it comes through the frame). I only got about 2 gallons max out of it after it quit draining initially. So now what I do (I’m expecting to get chastised for this) is GENTLY blow down the dipstick to blow out all the oil. I saw a YouTube video where a guy did this (and he was expecting to get chastised also). I’m real careful, it gets all the oil out. I wonder if some of these are different over time, the one that was shared with a picture is a newer model than my T770 (2017 model year I believe).
