I don’t think a lot of farmers realize that Commodity Classic is the annual meetings of the corn and soybean and I believe the wheat growers national associations. This meeting is where they set the agenda for the year in Washington. The input comes from the state associations. 
It can be an interesting meeting to attend but you have to understand the procedure to figure out what is going on. 

I have been to many but not recently. Saying it is an ego trip for some farmers might be true, but many that you see there are actually working for you.
