| You either need to produce the same with less costs or produce more for the same cost as your average producer. Most either just do what everyone else does or they try to produce more but end up with higher costs. In general ag producers get more efficient every year but there is still a lot of inefficiencies in production agriculture which allow some operations to be profitable when most are not. Eventually only the strongest or most efficient operations will be left. I'd suggest finding an edge to put your efficiency above the average producer. | |
