GrainTrader - 1/17/2026 10:03 Is Banvel approved over the top of planted extend beans, prior to emergence?
Why would you want to you use Banvel? So you drift on my Alfalfa and kill it. Banvel was a bad product forty years ago and still bad. Remember it getting up and moving over a mile and killing twenty acres of vegetables. Didn’t make good neighbors.

the person i was replying to IMO made a comment that can only be done off label. i know the answer. ive never applied any dicamba product to soybeans and only planted extend soybeans in test plots. not a fan of it due to the drift/volitation. was drifted onto every year at some point when dicamba beans came out and was legal. kept to myself about it most times because it was minor. was decent one year enough to call the local retailer who was doing my spraying also and said if youre willing to spray off label for them with extend (they weren't doing the setbacks and the stupid label on temp and wind speed basically made it never fit to spray), why won't you spray off label for me and use 24D in my burndown after ive planted but the beans aren't up? if i gotta keep looking at wilted beans on me, at least my bill could be lower while i look at it?!?!

they wen't away from spraying dicamba over the top after early post in my neighborhood that next year... (supposedly
