I have an S650, and when I drain the oil I route the hose under the frame, not certain but from your picture Mitchco, maybe the hose is above the lowest level of the oil pan, are you getting all the oil out that way? I think it was meant to route the hose under the frame, to keep it lower than the bottom of the oil pan. Really no problem either way, if there is a tiny bit of oil left in the pan, its diluted with new oil. I always put 3 gallons in mine on an oil change.
