Postville Iowa
In the 90’s my dad’s two main tractors were Massey and he also had two Massey combines. Then when AGCO bought Challenger and started painted stuff yellow and pushing that brand it kinda slowed the Massey brand down. We all know how the Challenger brand turned out. Even though that didn’t turn out maybe AGCO thinks it was a win because it exposed farmers to the big Cat dealers. Fast forward to today now some Cat dealers selling Massey. I think the Challenger deal slowed the Massey progress.
