Subject: RE: BobCat S76 or NH L328

Sioux County, NWIA
The S76 I drove had hand controls, thus fly by wire. If there is a mechanically controlled option they may not have some of the handling quirks I thought were fatal flaws.

Personally if I needed a skid steer of that size I would find a nice Case XT or early 400 series and run it until I wear out. Or if height wasn't a problem find a compact wheel loader. The visibility out of all these larger skidsteers is terrible especially with the full cab option. A wheel loader sits up higher and offers much better visibility.

This fly by wire computerized garbage is miserable to run compared to a maintained mechanical/servo machine.
