NW Illinois
No, it's even more restrictive than 24D. Clarity label states 1" inch of rainfall and 14 days for 8 oz per acre and 28 days for 16 oz. 24d LV6 labels generally are 7 days for 12 oz per acre.
Plant Dicamba beans if they yield well for you, great. Use them if you have developed a weed control program absent of the need of an auxin in your post spraying, even better. But fact is either platform has the same restrictions on non labeled chemistries.
I haven't read all pages of the the tech agreements, but don't see how spraying a "generic" auxin in either trait platform, pre plant, is violating the terms. Your not subject to the terms until you "use" the seed product, which would be planting it. It's a violation of the pesticide label itself. Of course in most cases there is little or no enforcement of this because those planting restrictions were placed to protect the farmer from damage caused by the chemistry in non tolerant versions of the crop years ago. It's not a environmental issue. This is also partly why companies don't spend the money to reapply for a label change for non post applications. They know their not liable if it's used that way and know people will do it.

Also those planting restrictions are a good indicator of the strength differences between the two auxins. Dicamba requires 4 times as long of planting restriction, at 1 pint an acre, in non tolerant soybeans because it will "stick around" that much longer then 24D.
