nc ks | Biggest thing would be the end to government picking winners and losers both home and abroad. Everything gets so distorted and when everyone is propped up, things just get more expensive. The seed rules favor SA with the US producer picking up the lions share of seed research and development. I also don't feel that the regulations on seed use should allow the seed company to also dictate the chemical sprayed on it. That should be separate with all chemical suppliers able to formulate and sell the properly formulated herbicide. On the machinery, let me have the opportunity to buy the necessary software and diagnoatic tools to install components.
Basically let us compete the same way the hardware stores or restaurants in town do. If you go the extra mile and work hard and smart and have a bit of luck, you should be able to grow and prosper. The government shouldn't be involved in keeping everyone in business or providing openings for anyone who decides they want to farm. I know that isn't a super popular opinion on Nat. | |
